Assistant professor in the Computer Science Department at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. David Díez received a Computer Engineering degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, in 1998. He also holds Ms.C. (2007) and Ph.D. (2009) in Computer Science and Technology from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Prior to joining to the DEI Lab, David worked as a software engineer and project manager for international software companies for almost a decade. His research interests concern the design of interactive systems, focused on topics as visual analytics, collaborative in design, and community support. He is especially devoted to design approaches as user-centered design, participatory design, and meta-design.
