The conference will take place in the University Carlos III of Madrid (B in the map) in Leganés.

Leganés is a town 15km southwest of Puerta del Sol (downtown Madrid) and located in the Madrid metropolitan area.

The Campus of the Carlos III University of Madrid is located in Leganés, in South Madrid. From the airport or from the centre of Madrid, you can take either the train, bus, metro, taxi or a private car.

The Barajas Airport is about 15 Km from downtown Madrid. In addition to the taxi service, there are bus and metro lines which go to the Plaza de Colon (city centre), and a metro line to Nuevos Ministerios, which has a connection to the Cercanias/RENFE train line to Leganés. Using public transportation it is possible to get directly to Leganés either by metro or by train; then it is almost 5 minutes walking from the station to the Campus.

You can take the Cercanías trains from Nuevos Ministerios or Atocha RENFE. From Nuevos Ministerios there are different possible trains which stop at Atocha station. Once you've arrived at "Atocha station ", take the C5 line (direction: "Humanes", usually leaving from platform 9) to the "Leganés Central " train station. The trip takes about 20 minutes. The "Leganés Central " station is only a short distance from the Campus. The train fare for a single is €1.15.
