Andrés Santos-Torres is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He received the degree in Electronic Engineering and Networks from Escuela Politécnica Nacional del Ecuador (2014). He also received the M.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Technology (2017) and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Technology (2022), both degrees from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Andrés was Teaching Assistant at Escuela Politécnica Nacional during the academic course 2015/2016. In 2016, he received the Full scholarship from Fundación Carolina, Spain to do his M.Sc. degree. He has been a member of the Lab DEI research group with a predoctoral fellow contract (2018 – 2022) and as an assistant research & professor (2022 – present). Andrés has focused his research on interaction and collaboration paradigms in immersive environments.
